What are your thoughts about the Semantic Web? Is it the next Big Thing?

Semantic technologies will play a role in the evolving the web.. I think the focus should be on solving problems and not on whether the Semantic Web is the next Big Thing.

Which new technologies would you like to learn? Have you worked with any "semantic" technologies such as XML, RDF, OWL, GRDDL, or SPARQL?

I've worked with XML and RDFa. Interesting in learning more about about OWL, GRDDL and SPARQL.

Which applications or web sites will make the Semantic Web a reality in the public eye?

Any application or web sites that goes a long way toward solving the information deluge problem.
