Introduction
I'm a Cognitive Psychologist doing ontological analysis -KR for discourse understanding. Consult on health topics/reusable medical knowledge, voc & semantic interoperability. SOCoP ExSecretary efforts to develop geosptial ontologies (socop.org).
What are your thoughts about the Semantic Web? Is it the next Big Thing?
It's eviolving....The next big things better not be a bubble.
Which new technologies would you like to learn? Have you worked with any "semantic" technologies such as XML, RDF, OWL, GRDDL, or SPARQL?
Would like to have time to integrate ontologies build with various tools with Semantic Wikis.
Which applications or web sites will make the Semantic Web a reality in the public eye?
How about a real semantic search? Semantic mediators with some real smarts and ability to use knowledge bases/ontologies would be nice.
