Introduction

I've doing I/A and development on web projects using home grown and open source CMSs for a while and want to exchange ideas with others in the community.

What are your thoughts about the Semantic Web? Is it the next Big Thing?

Actually, I think it is, though TNBG may be seen as something it enables rather than itself.

Which new technologies would you like to learn? Have you worked with any "semantic" technologies such as XML, RDF, OWL, GRDDL, or SPARQL?

I've worked with XML, and am getting into RDF.

Which applications or web sites will make the Semantic Web a reality in the public eye?

Calais looks like it's going to have significant impact.
