Introduction
I'm actively working in the semantic web field, with special focus on KR and DL. If somebody can give me a ride from DC to Fairfax for the meetings, let me know.
What are your thoughts about the Semantic Web? Is it the next Big Thing?
Has it to be the next big thing? I think a little semantics can make a difference, without being a revolution.
Which new technologies would you like to learn? Have you worked with any "semantic" technologies such as XML, RDF, OWL, GRDDL, or SPARQL?
I have worked with all of them.
Which applications or web sites will make the Semantic Web a reality in the public eye?
Hard to say. I believe the linking open data project has some potential to be taken by the public faster then other layers of the SW.
