People came expecting to be shown something, to learn something about semantic wikis, rather than to participate in developing a capability together, and learn through that process. As a consequence, folks didn't know that they should have brought laptops so that they could participate. A bit better coordination, planning and earlier engagement to help plan cooperatively would help a lot with future events. ”
